#bcsfaces- Kristin Everett
If you are a newbie parent like me, you probably aren't familiar with the "goings on" over at the Calvary Campus. My daughter has a few years before moving up to the middle school campus, so I took it upon myself to get to know the "first voice" that greets parents over the phone, Kristin Everett. Kristin runs the Administration Office at our Calvary program and was happy to share a little about herself. She also lets us in on the awesome vibes happening in the building from mid-day hugs to the sounds of uplifting praise, Kristin definitely makes me want to go hang out for a day.
#bcsfamiliesunited: Kristin, can you share with us your favorite BCS memory connected to working on the Calvary Campus?
Kristen: I don’t know that I have one particular memory that stands out. I really enjoy hearing the praise team when they’re practicing. I enjoy seeing my son (he’s in 6th grade this year) interacting with his friends. I even get an occasional hug from him, which is an awesome benefit of working here!
#bcsfamiliesunited: We all love receiving the Weekly Round-up, as it is a helpful for keeping on top of the happenings in the school. Can you tell us a little bit more about the other duties and goals of your position at BCS?
Kristin: I do a lot of behind the scenes kind of things - maintaining files, sending out information, copying,[ I am the] Scrip coordinator, etc. My goal is to serve the students, parents, teachers and administration to the best of my ability! I want to make their lives easier and if I can do that, I feel like I’ve accomplished something.
#bcsfamiliesunited: What is your favorite thing to do over the weekend?
Kristin: I enjoy doing a variety of things with my family - sometimes we go to a movie, eat out, or just get caught up on all the household items that always need to be done. It’s just nice to be able to relax a bit from the work week schedule!
Thank you so much Kristin for all that you contribute to BCS- we appreciate you!
