Snaps and Snacks at the Poetry Cafe

In observance of National Poetry Month, Mrs. Indyk's 2nd grade students spent time writing, reading and learning about different types of poems. From Bio Poems to Haiku Poems, students proudly presented their pieces to a room full of parents snapping their fingers as applause and snacking on coffee, hot chocolate, gummy bears and other treats.
