The Eyes of the Lord Thy God are Always Upon It....
As I reflect on the blessings of the Lord this past month (September)- it all begins inside the walls of Bethlehem Christian School. As I sought the Lord for the words to say concerning my first month as Office Manager, He opened my eyes to a scripture that captures every feeling and thought connected to my experience so far in this great school. Deuteronomy 11:12 12 A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
BCS is a land that God cares for and His eyes remain upon it. There is such a tangible presence of the Spirit of God in our school. From Leaders who keep one another in prayer, to children who tend to the needs of their fellow classmates when injury or failing health presents itself, to overwhelmed parents just needing grace as they figure it out, to laminated classroom signs designed for kindergardeners that unexpectedly speak a word of faith into your heart. The children at BCS are well cared for and loved with an everlasting love. The staff love on one another with intention and from a beautiful place within their hearts. Your children are a joy to know, but more than that- it is my honor to serve them, pray with them, and encourage them in their little journeys in Christ.
At a time where the world seeks to be divided and angry, it is so refreshing to be in an environment where there is harmony in diversity. The bible says that we are to become like children...this couldn’t be more true. I look forward to coming here everyday, and everyday my eyes are open more to the mercies of God, the grace of God, the passion of God for His people, the care of God, and all the ways He displays His love to us and through us!
Thank you students, teachers, leaders, parents and BCS family for a great first month!
